up and down skyline blues
*... music by the late Bruce Steinberg, who was a photographer, album cover designer, friend and harmonica player in and around the late 60's / early 70's soul and funk scene for such legendaries as Janis Joplin, the Pointer Sisters, Herbie Hancock and Tower of Power, to name a few. Those of us who knew Bruce, knew that he loved to drive, and drive and drive, and drive all night. Sometimes, on full moon nights, when I'm on way home well past the witching hour, a track of his will pop on, and I swear I feel his presence in the passenger seat, fellow traveler from beyond the veil bidding me to drive a bit further.
