Fuck The Police / BLM
This graffiti has created many questions in my mind. It brings up a series of #unbalanced situations too.
First of all, it is located on the New York State / Vermont border, entering a very MAGAt area of Vermont. It was unexpected to see it in this location.
Secondly, despite the fact the railroad (Pan Am) barely puts in effort to keep their tracks and infrastructure functioning, I'd assume an employee would have covered this. Typically graffiti on this railroad tends to last decades but in this case I'm surprised they did not address it considering that this same company allowed employees to display traffic alert signs on their overpasses (that are above roads) saying "Trump 2020".
Third, being in a rural area I am also surprised one of the local busybodies didn't come deal with it themselves. It's been here for about a year.
To be clear, I fully support #BlackLivesMatter, and I also support police reform. Although I understand the sentiment expressed here, I am not sure vandalism is always the way to express yourself, but alas it was done. Truly one of the most #unbalanced situations in our nation is how to deal with police violence and make life better for our black neighbors.
