REDNECPHA Im 8990

Red-necked Phalarope, Phalaropus lobatus, 7.75 in / 19.7 cm. COMMON locally. Nests in grass near tundra ponds. Winters on open ocean along of floating weeds and debris. Immature or transition-plumaged male.
