Sandcastle

Here's a long lost shot of the Mesquite Sand Dunes I found on my hard drive. Nothing too impressive stood out with this shot initially.

 

The light was very subdue and flat. I think the composition is good, but the sun hadn't risen yet leading to a plain and boring photo. Maybe that's why I initially skipped this composition.

 

However after reviewing my older photos and learning a few tricks from Alex Noriega I could add some light and make the taller sand dune stand out.
