Tea-Colored Shallow

April 11, 2017

An abundance of oak leaves, that blow into the Cape Cod ponds in Fall, tint the water with varying tones of brown. The shallow water that flows through the streams gets this beautiful translucent golden brown color. Ponds and streams with this color are referred to around here as "tea-colored."
