Ant Apple Pie

The scene under an old and forgotten apple tree:

 

This ant is the only one at the forest floor-pie party, busy gnawing away at his free breakfast. It appears other critters have started if for him, and now in its state of decay, the apple is soft and juicy, just to his liking.
