These days, we are ever vigilant on the outer beaches of Cape Cod, watching for any dark shape in the shallows. White sharks are starting to show up on a daily basis, but more likely the shape is a seal. In this case the bather has encountered a grey seal pup. If it had been a white shark, the shadow would likely have been 5 times as long.
