License Check

April 24, 2015

The shellfish warden checks out a resident's clamming license. In his basket he has his limit of 5 quarts of hardshell clams, or quahogs. These are the smaller varieties, so they are called "Little Necks" and "Cherry Stones." A bigger clam would be termed a "Chowder" (or "Chowdah" if you're from around these pahts!)
