Lou Reed, Glastonbury 1992
For Christmas in 1992 Bruce offered me two framed prints, both taken at that year's Glastonbury Festival, one of Lou Reed and one of Tom Verlaine.
With him at the Festival was Helen Lea, a friend from Weymouth.
"I remember really clearly that Bruce was on the side of the stage, just before Lou Reed came on, and he was able to speak to him... Lou was very overwhelmed and just said 'fucking big gig' several times."
