No matter who we are, or how we dress. No matter whom we love, or the genders we identify with; we are all loved, we are all family. Victoria is invited to dress up, and play ball, or cheer-lead from the sidelines. Rules are bent, moustaches are smudged, and heels get a little dirty in a fun, sun filled afternoon celebrating diversity, and having fun.

I try to attend PRIDE events in support of a friend I owe a lot to.
Way back when, a buddy named Sam Evans befriended me, in spite of my red neck and ignorance, and his patience delivered me from a life of hate and homophobia. We lost him to AIDS back in 1988 - but I will never forget his friendship and the life lessons he taught me.
