This was a project for the Sister Settings event to create a title poster that outlined the event's history and the event at Anne Arundel Community College. Additionally, we aimed to develop a menu listing all the women that the event represented and celebrated.
This project involved collaboration with various programs within the art department and other classes outside of art to assist in selecting who to represent and providing descriptions and histories of the women.
I chose the colors because they convey a sense of importance while being bold and bright to attract attention.
I designed the triangle for the logo to match Judy Chicago's Dinner Party, which Sister Settings is based on. In the center, a globe symbolizes the strong, intelligent, and amazing women of the past, present, and future.
