Urbex Villa della B.

This villa stands on the grounds of a former fort and was built in the 18th century. In the mid of the 19th century the villa was bought by a wealthy merchant. He decorated all rooms on both floors with fresco's: On the ground floor the paintings show landscapes and birds while the 1st floor shows river landscapes and classical ruins.

Unknown who nowadays owns the property and why it has been left abandoned...

The paintings are beautiful, but for some reason I find them a bit kitsch. I saw some symmetrical errors on the rooms' walls, I suspect the paintings to be some sort of luxury wallpaper :)
