A Musing Dream
This image is another preview of my upcoming exhibition in Almere. In the edit of the original photo I removed all disturbing elements in order to come closer to the essence of what interests me: the walls, the long shadows and the ongoing patterns of balconies and windows, which also are reflected in the large pond beneath.
Last year I received a commission from the Stadsarchief (city archive) of Almere. The challenge was to visualise the architecture of this town in my particular way.
The result is a photo series of 24 works, that will be exhibited in the large entrance area of the city archive. The exhibition will run from 6 June until 3 Oktober 2019.
