Both beers are fairly hoppy, typical of a good west coast India Pale Ale. The ESB in Boont ESB actually means Extra Special Beer not Bitter and is basically a Pale Ale with enough hops to call it an IPA anywhere else in the world. Both pours a clear, golden color with massive white heads. Aroma of west coast hops, flavors ditto with some malt sweetness to balance the beer. Both are fairly good but not outstanding.
