Transmission X-ray Microscope
The transmission x-ray microscope at the National Synchrotron Light Source (NSLS) is used for three research themes: x-ray imaging of energy storage materials, microelectronics structural studies, and nanotomography of biofuels. The instrument — called the nanoXCT-S200 — was purchased with funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) from Xradia, Inc., headquartered in California.
