Curvaceous~ Curve-lined Owlet Moth (Phyprosopus callitrichoides) Caterpillar

It was great to see the first one of these guys of the season yesterday at Graham Creek...they are very common here and can be found beginning now and well into Autumn!

 

Looking like dried leaf debris certainly has it's advantages for these tiny guys...no self respecting predator would give them a thought!
