Bristol People of the Corn, normally known as Friends of the Bristol Indiana Parks stalked the fields for fall decor to adorn the light posts of down town for the upcoming Fall Town Party. The Rhineharts, the Rymans, the Dreamers and Linda Powell, ably assisted by Mr. Phillips loaded up enough corn stalks to cover the posts, and managed to avoid the sprinkler system in the field. Over the last week, they have spent a number of hours putting up the displays and adding ribbons to each. Linda Powell and Jill Swartz put together the display in Memorial Park, adding little orange lights to add a festive touch. Anyone is welcome to join the Friends of the Parks (you don't have to live in town) and can come to the next Park Board meeting at the Town Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at 7pm to sign up. No Park Board meeting was held in October.
