Cranes in Flight. New Years Crane tsumami zaiku
Handmade crane kanzash, a kind of Japanese fabric art. These are made out of the same silk that is used in making kimono. I used kimono fabric, which you can see in red and gold, and ivory habutae (the very light weight silk used in lining kimono; it is very expressive).
This kimono fabric is from a wedding kimono fabric...I only have a very small amount of this fabric, so this is a special design.
正月飾りで作った鶴です。このつるはいつものより二倍おおきくて作るのを工夫しました！ 綺麗にできたら嬉しいです。
