Hide and Seek
He ignores why the Horde is after him. They are known to scourge the universe from time to time leaving death and destruction in their wake but now they seem more organized.
It appears they are targeting specific individuals and he is one of them.
He tried to avoid contact with them but a patrol found him and now they stand right before him.
“Your worthless life ends here in this place we turned into ruins decades ago!” States who appear to be the leader of the patrol.
The universes are full of beings gifted with extraordinary powers. Some of them have powerful beyond measure. Even though sometimes he wishes he had the powers of that being from the competitor universe who can withstand a thermonuclear explosion, fire laser from his eyes (heath vision, I love it lol) and fly; he is fond of his own special gift.
Sometimes maneuverability can be the best tactical asset and when your special gift is the ability create short distance wormholes, well you can’t usually forget to worry about being corned.
The Horde Warrior fires his weapon but as the deadly flechettes travel toward their intended destination he disappears in a poof (or bamf for those who are familiar with the comics this figure is based on) of purplish light.
He appears right behind the second Warrior and with a swift movement he grabs the creature’s cleaver and slices through his neck.
“Oh $@#!” Exclaims the patrol leader in his own idiom.
The Warrior turns to his prey but before he has the chance to fire his weapon the cleaver flies out to his head.
It’s over and he is still breathing. He doesn’t know for how much longer he can elude the Horde’s attentions but he’ll live another day and during these dark and uncertain times it is what they call a success…

The Horde Warriors are Gears of War Theron action figures (savage, the one with melee weapon, and sentinel, the other) made by Neca while their target is Nightcrawler (the X-Men character) figure by Diamond Select.
