DR BR V36 | LEGO
The DR BR V36 of the German Reichsbahn or WR 360 of the German Wehrmacht was a shunting diesel locomotive with an axle load of about 14 tons. The output was 360 hp. It was specially developed and built for use in potentially explosive locations. Power is transmitted by means of a blind shaft and driving rods, similar to a steam locomotive. After the Second World War, this locomotive continued to be used under the designation BR V 36 and was finally taken out of service by DB in 1981 and by DR in 1985.
The model can be motorized by a Power-Functions L motor, which sits vertically in the driver's cab, the infrared receiver sits in the front area and the battery box in the middle of the locomotive, thereby an optimal weight distribution is given. All three axles, as well as the blind shaft, to which the axles are connected via a coupling rod, are driven.
The model has been specially designed for the use of "Big Ben Bricks" railway wheels, but can also be equipped with standard LEGO wheels through small adaptations.
