Galloping Goose | LEGO

by Bricks-on-Rails

A model of the classic "Galloping Goose", a mixture of train and car. These extraordinary vehicles were first used in the USA in the 1930s because they were much more profitable than the large steam locomotives. So these locomotives were sought and found as a kind of "compromise solution".

The model is approx. 58 studs long and consists of approx. 883 individual parts. The model can be motorized either with a Power Functions XL motor, a Power Functions train-motor or a 9V motor. The additional components required for Power Functions are conveniently located inside the transport compartment. Both roofs can be removed.

The model has been specially designed for the use of "Big Ben Bricks" railway wheels, but can also be equipped with standard LEGO wheels by making small adjustments.
