Eisenbahnfähre / Train-ferry | LEGO

A model of a railway ferry as used in places where bridges are not practicable or not financially viable. Rail ferries are equipped with one or more rail lines and allow the safe transport of rail vehicles.

The model consists of approx. 1550 individual parts and is approx. 98 studs long. It has a rail track on which models with a total length of 80 studs can be transported. The barriers can be opened manually for entry and exit, the roof of the cabin can be removed. The model is equipped with numerous other details, such as the indicated lower deck entrance or the bollards for lashing. The underside is equipped with glides, allowing the ship to be manoeuvred optimally over carpets.
