DR BR 199.8 HSB "Harzkamel" | LEGO
Model of the "Harzkamel", the "DR BR 199.8", as it can still be found today on the narrow-gauge railways in the Harz mountains (HSB). It is a diesel locomotive of the V100 series, which was specially converted for use on narrow-gauge railways. In the process of conversion, the DR BR 199.8 received two three-axle bogies due to the maximum axle load of ten tons.
During the implementation in the model, special attention was paid to the striking "roof-shaped" bonnets and the detailed chassis. The model can be powered by a Power-Functions M-motor. The IR receiver is located in the driver's cab, the battery box under the rear bonnet. The front bogie is driven. The engine is also used to rotate the two round fans above it while driving.
This model is also available in the colour scheme of a four-axle DB BR 203 conversion locomotive in yellow / blue.
