Ringlokschuppen Railyard Roundhouse | LEGO
Model of a gigantic roundhouse, as it was once to be found in many, larger railway depots. Locomotives were stored and serviced in it. Roundhouses were usually connected to the railway network by means of a turntable.
The model consists of approx. 6800 components and offers space for three locomotives with a length of up to 60cm. The gates can be opened and closed either by hand or with the help of Power-Functions M-motors. The individual roof elements can be removed and allow a view of the inside of the roundhouse. This roundhouse offers the perfect complement to our turntable because the angles between the three parking spaces are adjusted to the angles of the turntable. The parking spaces can also be easily reached by means of switches and flex tracks.
