Spooky New Haven Fairbanks-Morse
Here's the Fairbanks-Morse H15-44 I designed for this year's BMR OcTRAINber contest, "repainted" in NH's 1950s livery (I think it's called the "McGinnis" scheme, but not sure, as there were apparently quite a few variants).
The idea behind it was to find a color scheme that would be buildable in real bricks, i.e. suffer less from limited part availability than the previous two-tone green version, while still accentuating the unique shape of the car body.
My wife came by just when I was working on the orange cab in LDD, and she was like "hey, cool! Is it for halloween?" -- and so the idea to the above scenery was born, and I began to add more and more spooky stuff.
Enjoy -- and happy halloween to all you Lego train fans out there!
