Atlantic Coastal Ridge

BrightPink, the first train I documented and as of 12 Jan 2018, is the first train I rode on Brightline, is the trainset used for this Friday afternoon test run south to Fort Lauderdale as twilight passes. The FEC's tangent through Pompano Beach as shown lies on a particularly remarkable portion of the Atlantic Coastal Ridge, hilly terrain which once bordered the land from the ocean but now of course the land goes for miles on eastward, making this stretch noticeably uneven on the FEC mainline.
