Seattle Waterfront View from Pier 66 [Explore 2025-29-May]

I'm probably the millionth person to take this shot from Pier 66 in Seattle, but hey, I don't care. I wanted one of my own.

 

When I first started shooting and sharing my photos on social media sites, I worried how my photos would compare with the competition. Perhaps many are wondering the same thing as they travel on their photographic journey. I can tell anyone, as I learned from my experience, the only competition is with your self, with who you are, with what drives you, and with what you want to make of yourself. Enjoy the work of others, be humble and willing to listen and learn from others, be kind and willing to mentor and teach others, give an encouraging word, withold the criticism, be a light wherever you are.

 

This photo was taken during some fun times when a group of friends named ourselves the Seattle Night Shooters. We would roam the city looking for fun and creative shots, and experiment and learn together. Good times!
