Pond sculptures - AI auto extend sides

I wanted a 16:9 version of this image for a video, but simple cropped to that ratio would lose part of the subject. So I used the Crop tool to widen the image, adding white sides; then asked Generative Fill to imagine the rest! I found that selecting just the white sides was not good enough; better to overlap part of the original image.
