Mount Stewart

We'd planned to visit Mount Stewart with our hosts on Sunday, but their car had an unfortunate meeting with a traffic island which curtailed that journey. So a few days later, in a borrowed car, we drove down to Strangford Lough, watching carefully for rogue traffic islands, and made our way to Mount Stewart. This is a neo classical National Trust property with very fine gardens. Definitely worth braving traffic islands for. There was a guided tour of the house, so photos had to be grabbed quickly in order to keep up with the party!
