I basically cut my teeth surfing here. It is known as an intermediate spot, but I can tell you from experience it can dish out expert level quality on occasion. You surf what you bring with you. So if it's small and hollow and you have a longboard, you better be ready for the drop. Pleasure Point in general, is a great surf spot. I could walk from my place in a couple of minutes and be at the Hook. Then I could stop for pizza on my way home. Those were great days, but the place is changed now with so many people. Big Days at Rockview will always remind me how much fun I had.
