Info for the strobist pool: Vivitar 283 manual controls. I replaced the thyristor control sensor with switched resistors. 8 stops of control with instant adjustment. Makes the ‘software’ controls on my 430ex seem impossibly tedious! The socket on the back is the one from the original thyristor sensor.
