Random Ridge's Fortunata

Made in part from Sangiovese Grosso, the same grape as Brunello di Montalcino, but this one grown at 3200' on a mountain side in Napa. 2001 vintage. And they make only 1 barrel per year. Complete with proper, and extremely enthusiastic, wine service from Maverick. (40% off bottles of wine on Mondays. Sweet.)

I loved it, but thought it needed to warm up a bit and breath for a while. I think this is the first time I thought that having a glass decanter with a lot of surface area would come in handy. It was at its best with the sheep's cheese at the end of the meal.
