This is the first photo in my Greek mythology project which I'm doing for a university class - this one is based on the story of Demeter, the goddess of harvest. The odds were all against me whilst I was shooting this - I got to the location to find I didn't have the part that attached my camera to my tripod with me and that my remote wasn't working properly. I ended up securing my camera to the tripod with hair bobbles and putting it on a 10 second timer after guessing with manual focus where I'd be stood. I really thought it'd all fail and I can't believe I've managed to pull something from it that I'm so proud of.
