Lucky's 9th Birthday
Born September 12, 2006. He was the first of 7 puppies born to his Mom, a full blooded Collie. His Dad was a full blooded Siberian Husky, who lived on the other side of the fence.
We got him when he was just 2 months old, on November 12th 2006.
Just 3 days before on a Friday, we had to help our other sweet boy, "Boo Bear" transition to Rainbow Bridge.
It was a horrible weekend. Sunday night looking through the dogs for sale pages, Camille found a little tiny add that said, "Lassie meets Snow-dog..."
The following afternoon, Monday, this sweet boy came into our lives. He was angel, and took away so much of the pain of loss we were both feeling. Or at least, he wouldn't let us think so much about it.
He has been the joy in our lives ever since.
