Dynamic Relighting of a BW photo
This is an experiment in dynamic relighting. I lit the subject with 3 strobes in a mostly dark room. Each strobe had a pure Red, Green, or Blue filter on it. The goal was to use each channel as a 'Pass' of lighting and recombine them later. I used D2 Softwares NUKE to do the images but photoshop would work. I need to refine my filter choice to fine tune the wavelengths. I also need the model to wear a gray shirt next time :). There was 1 580ex strobe on the shoe with a lightsphere2 using a red gel. This is my diffuse pass. The other two are 430ex's just bounced at 45 twords the model. from left and right.
The first 3 images are mixes I liked, the 4th is a desaturated of the original, and the last is the full color original.
