leftovers!

this spider has taken up residence outside the office over the past two weeks. the web is a work of art. i have a Pentax Optio WPi and am trying to figure out if i can control the aperture better. considering how close i was to the spider, i figure the background should be more out of focus. i'd appreciate any advice!
