Denmark: A 'YBM' and 'Lynette' railcars at Lemvig station beside "No. 6"

The Vemb-Lemvig-Thyborøn Jernbane (Vemb-Lemvig-Thyborøn Railway) came into being in 1899 and is still running today using diesel-mechanical railcars of the type called a 'Lynette' which can be seen in the background. The railcar in center is a Swedish YBM which was taken out of service subsequent to this photo being taken. The steam locomotive is No. 6, which was used from 1919 to 1932. It was a heavy locomotive with small wheels which made it ideal for the hilly tracks and could pull 440 tons at an offical top speed of 40 kph. During it's active life it ran 400,000 km and used 6,000 tons coal.
