Spice:Melange

For Flickr Friday group. Thus weeks theme: Spice.

 

A lot of wonderful images of Earthly spices such as cinnamon, cumin, paprika, various peppers and the like.

 

So how to to do something different? Here's my take on this weeks theme, but with that Science Fiction 'spice', Melange.

 

Harvested on the desert world of Arakkis , Melange (or just spice) is rare and valued commodity. Sustained use of the spice discolours the whole human eye blue - called the "Eyes of Ibad."
