Bikini line

A disappointing art installation, hidden in pine trees at Durham university's botanic garden (info). Alas today there was none of the advertised ear-popping noise, and only this silent display of make-believe skimpy two-piece swimsuits. And it was hard to relate any aspect to atomic-bomb testing at Bikini Atoll — unless you count the red bikini-top (centre) with two yellow radiation-warning symbols.
