Crucifix and candlesticks by Phoebe Anna Traquair (1852 - 1936). The Crucifixion can be seen in the central panel. She was the first woman to become a Member of the Royal Academy of Scotland - National Museum of Scotland

In the background is "Red Cross Knight also by Phoebe Anna Traquair. Early 20th century. Center panel. Oak-framed panel embroidered in colored silks and gold thread depicting St. George slaying the dragon in a landscape setting with Una kneeling in prayer in the background. Museum reference: A.1937.363. The triptych, The Red Cross Knight, was inspired by Edmund Spenser’s epic poem, “The Faerie Queen.”

 

To the right top is a Pendant entitled "Out of the Deep", gold and enamel: Scottish, Midlothian, Edinburgh, by Phoebe Traquair, 1908.

 

To the top on the left is a Bookbinding of embossed leather with spine entitled 'Biblia Innocentum [Innocentium]' and front cover decorated with scenes of the Creation of the World, the back cover with a representation of a female bookbinder, the monogram 'PAT' and dated: Scottish, Edinburgh, by Phoebe Anna Traquair, dated 1900.

 

To the middle on the left is a Bookbinding of embossed leather with spine entitled 'Rossetti' and front cover decorated with an angel's head and words 'La passion qui consacre': Scottish, Edinburgh, by Phoebe Traquair, 1897.

 

To the bottom on the left is the Crucifixion.
