Identity crisis (snowy egret)

It's like this snowy egret was thinking: "How am I suppose to fish if there is plenty of fish, but no shallow for me stand in? Should I be like a skimmer? A tern?" :-) I've never seen anything like this at our little pond in the middle of the city... @ Manhattan Beach' s Polliwog Park
