White Bus on the 441
With Abellio Surrey losing all of their Surrey CC contracted services from September 2017, White Bus Services - newly under new ownership - entered the mainstream Surrey bus scene.
They won the contracts for the interworked 438 and 566/567, Sunday 446 and 456 work and took on the Monday - Saturday 446 service commercially.
Abellio pulled their horns in to operate only their commercial 441 (cut to run Englefield Green to Staines only) and 461 (Addlestone - Kingston) services, moved to an Abellio London garage.
Fast forward to March 2017, and it was announced with short notice that Abellio had reached agreement with White Bus that the latter would take over the 441 effective Saturday 17th March 2018.
The same timetable is operated, and the three of 8016, 8018 and 8108 in the Abellio fleet are on loan to White Bus for a few months.
Here though, baby Solo SR YJ14 BBO was doing the honours, presumably due to it being Saturday and not being required in Windsor (allowing a fleet livery vehicle to be used rather than a loan bus).
