Building new Via Rail Canada station in Belleville, Ontario_4649

A second passenger platform is being added with an overhead bridge. To the right, the overhang is from the current station, built in 1856 and the oldest continuously operated railway passenger station in Canada. So when the new station is completed, the oldest and newest will stand side-by-side. I don't know the fate of the current station but it is a National Historic Site of Canada and must be maintained in its original form.
