Whistling Swans, Glen Ross, Ontario_9342

The Whistling (Tundra) Swans have returned to Glen Ross, Ontario. Usually, they are here in late January/early February but the lack of open water for feeding has discouraged them. There is now some open water outside the field of view. There has been a considerable die-off of water fowl this winter due to the lack of open water.
