Chicagoans rally to stop the forced co-location of a high school into 2 already co-located grade schools
Co-locating Spry Community Links High School into the Saucedo-Telpochcalli campus would disrupt the unique programs each school has built, strain already scarce resources, will likely involve staff layoffs and will put quality education at risk.
The co-location proposal comes from Mayor Emanuel's hand-picked school board and does not represent the the wishes of the largely hispanic working class community that all 3 schools serve.
