*2009-04-01 Trail Canyon

Mid-week Sierra Club hike up Trail Canyon. Three of us (Bob Cates, Nick and Jyoti Shah) did not sign up with the Sierra Club Group, as we are slower hikers and stop often for photography. This set shows our Sierra Club friends zooming by us several times during the day. This turned into a real wildflower hike-not so much from great masses of flowers, but from the great variety. A perfect day in one of the great foothill canyons in the western San Gabriel Mountains.
