Bicycle Bob
handles
Two different kinds of handles which you can make at the end of your lines.
The chain knot handle is much easier on the sailor's hands (or gloves) and very quick to do and undo. (Just like when tying the boat to the dock!)
To make the handles, cleat the control lines at the maximum loose that you'll ever need and start making the handle right at the cleat. This gives you an impeccable stopper knot, a nice long handle, and keeps your boat clear of left-over lines!
