Into The Archives... Coastliner Transfer

Liverpool has become a major location for transferred Enviro400-bodied Scania N230UDs for the best part of 5 years by Stagecoach, with 2018 being a major influx to arrive in the region.

Arriving at Gillmoss, 14 Alexander Dennis Enviro400-bodied Scania N230UDs arrived from Stagecoach South after being displaced from Coastliner 700 stretching from Portsmouth to Brighton.

15585/15586/15588-15599 made the transfer, some even entering service with their previous branding until receiving an updated version of their standard Beachball livery. 15589-15592 no longer reside at Gillmoss, transferring over to Stagecoach Yorkshire's Barnsley base in 2020 in a direct swap with Gold-spec 15535/15609-15611.

15588 remains at Gillmoss and was amongst the last Enviro400s to retain Coastliner 700 branding... Since then, it has since been re-registered to TSV 722 and carries Better by Bus vinyls.

Alexander Dennis Enviro400 15588 (GX10 HAA) prepares to turn into Crosshall Street, Liverpool on 20 to Tower Hill.
