Auspicious light
That's an earthen lamp lit during a pre-wedding ritual that happens at Bengali weddings in India. Once lit, this lamp is not allowed to burn out and oil is constantly added to it whenever necessary. The smoke coming off from the wick of the lamp is considered auspicious.
