Laser Tattoo Removal

So for those of you who have never experienced this, it's probably not what you would imagine. There is a red light that they use to guide where they fire the laser and that stays on all the time. The laser itself is strange, but it’s just a series of VERY bright lights that pop loudly when they hit (and explode and burn your skin). The flashes of light are VERY fast and it was extremely difficult to catch one in a frame.

There are different heads that they put on the laser depending on what color ink they are removing. This one was for removing red. The one for removing black ink has kind of a purple glow to the light.

I am almost done with my first laser removal, and this photo is from the first session on my second removal. They laughed at me bringing in my big camera, but I think it was worth it to get a good shot of this unusual experience.
